National Examination; Future Determinants

                 I was born in the 90s where the national exams (middle & high school) were a benchmark of someone's success. If a student who is very active and smart will be worthless or in vain if he only gets a less satisfactory score on the National Examination. It felt like the race was unfair, if the effort that we are proud of, the hard work we put in for three years is only determined by a test of 3 to 4 days. Indeed, we as a society must have benchmarks to mention a nominal result, but in the academic field, what if someone who is not in charge of academics, but he masters art and music? whether they also have the right to go to school.

               I agree with the character assessment, so each student has their strengths and weaknesses, which are explained by the educator in descriptive terms. it motivates students to develop their talents. Not all children or students have talents and interests that can be beaten equally.

                There is no standard value where parents always see that value as a reference and compare their children. When this triggers the nature of children to be arrogant, spiteful, despair because they continue to get guidance not directly by the people around. Indeed, parents do not demand verbally or explicitly, but non-verbally, attitudes, gestures are media that parents use implicitly.

               In reality, many teachers also make mistakes for the sake of their students getting satisfactory grades, if this is the end of a national examination for what is maintained again. this will threaten the morals of the people of this nation. Once dishonest then so on will not be honest.

           So I think it gonna be better if the national exam changed into the character assessment, it sure will be teachers or educator's load. but its the reason why the teacher is unsung heroes because he never complained and was hesitant to observe the character of their students to become better and more useful human beings in the future.
